UNDATED (AP) — Kelly Graves thought his Oregon Ducks hadn't really done anything to deserve the No. 3 ranking in the AP Top 25 _ the school's best ever. Now after suffering their first loss of the season on Sunday at Michigan State, the Ducks will fall in the poll.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Kyle Guy scored 15 points and Ty Jerome had 14 as undefeated and No. 4 Virginia held off Virginia Commonwealth 57-49. The Cavaliers outscored the Rams 19-6 over the final 6:30 to pull away. Isaac Vann led the Rams with 10 points as VCU played its closest contest with Virginia since its 59-56 victory in 2013.

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) — Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 19 points to help No. 15 Virginia Tech survive a cold-shooting start and lead it to an 81-44 victory over South Carolina State. Justin Robinson added 16 points for the Hokies, who got their third consecutive win.

ATLANTA (AP) — Brandon Alston scored 15 points, freshman reserve Khalid Moore added a career-high 14, on a perfect shooting afternoon and Georgia Tech's defense clamped down on Florida A&M as the Yellow Jackets dominated the Rattlers 73-40. Moore entered the game with 16 total points in six games, and scored more than half that in the first half while making all five of his shots for 10 points as Tech (5-3) took a 36-13 lead.

CHESNUT HILL, Mass. (AP) — Destiny Pitts scored a career-high 35 points and No. 14 Minnesota used an 11-0 run in the fourth quarter to defeat Boston College 77-69. Four different players scored as the Golden Gophers turned a 60-56 deficit into a 67-60 lead with 45 seconds to play.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Asia Durr scored 32 points and made the first of several critical free throws down the stretch that helped No. 5 Louisville hold off No. 19 Kentucky 80-75. The Cardinals appeared in control with an 18-point lead midway through the third quarter and a 67-52 lead entering the fourth. Kentucky rallied to within four twice in the final 30 seconds, but Durr, Sam Fuehring and Arica Carter made needed free throws.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Sarah Mortensen hit five 3-pointers for 15 points, Beatrice Mompremier and Emese Hof had double-doubles and No. 25 Miami cruised to a 78-38 win over New Orleans. Mompremier had 16 points and Hoff 10 and both had 10 rebounds for the Hurricanes (8-2), who had a double-figure run in every quarter.
