Three Village School Buses Roll Under New Name in September

Three Village's yellow school buses will look the same, but bear a new name this September. 

Three Village Board of Education voted Monday night to approve a new transportation contract with Suffolk Transportation Services in Bay Shore, Village Times Herald reports. 

For more than 20 years, Three Village students been brought to and from school by Atlantic Express Transportation Corp.  Atlantic Express sold its contract with Three Village School District to Suffolk Transportation Services after the company lost more than 600 buses to Hurricane Sandy. 

The new contract with Suffolk Transportation Services will cover through the 2014-2015 school year at the same costs and terms of the previous contract.
