Cracker Barrel breaks ground in Panama City

PANAMA CITY — Cracker Barrel has broken ground on its Panama City location.

The country store and restaurant is slated for a March 2018 opening at 520 E. 23rd St. in Bay City Point. Restaurant officials said they plan to hire about 175 full- and part-time employees.

The 10,000-square-foot building will seat 180 guests at a time, company officials said, and will feature antique art and decor customized to the community.

Panda Express, Dunkin’ Donuts, Aspen Dental and Chick-fil-A also have filed paperwork to move into the new development.
