JPMorgan, Intel earnings weigh on Dow; Chipotle drops despite higher revision

Time for your daily dose of trending tickers, the stocks you're following based on your Yahoo Finance ticker searches.

JPMorgan Chase

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) weighed heavily on the blue chips. Shares dropped after the bank missed quarterly earnings estimates with profit of $1.32 a share, that's 5 cents below estimates. Revenue was also below forecasts, falling 6.4% to $23.54 billion. Despite cost-cutting efforts, investors seem to be focusing on JPMorgan's lackluster results from its trading operations.

Intel

Intel (INTC) was another drag for the Dow Components. Shares dropped despite quarterly earnings beating on both top and bottom lines. Profit came in at $0.64 a share, which was better than 5 cents than forecasts and revenue far surpassed expectations at $14.47 billion. But the numbers were still a decline from a year ago as the chipmaker continued to get hit by weak demand for personal computers.
