The British Embassy Rome and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in collaboration with Borsa Italiana are calling for nominations for the “Women in Finance – 2019 Italy Awards.”
The Awards strive to celebrate female talent and the value of diversity in the financial sector.
The Awards are looking for nominations in the following categories:
- CFO of the Year
- Asset Manager of the Year
- Banker of the Year
- Insurer of the Year
- Woman in Fintech of the Year
- Champion of Diversity Employer
For the “Woman in Fintech of the Year” recognition, the jury will seek to give the award to the professional who has contributed to the development of the Fintech sector.
The Jury will base its assessment on the following criteria:
- The person has developed innovative solutions in the field of payment services, asset management and management
loans to be reported in terms of simplicity of financial transactions; transparency of
products; inexpensiveness of payment, financing and investment operations; better dialogue
with the user; creation of simpler and cheaper products, accessible to a wider audience of
users; - The individual has interpreted the role of ‘champion’ of diversity both inside and outside
organization of the company placing itself as authoritative point of reference for the colleagues (ad
example, playing the role of mentor and guide, helping to create a spirit of cohesion that
support women in their growth paths, actively working to fight stereotypes
gender, concretely supporting the professional ascent of professionals within
company organization, stimulating greater consideration of one’s own qualities and one
heightened awareness of their rights and working – even outside the company and
in the context of social media – to promote the image of a careful corporate organization
to the values of diversity).
