Tuesday morning over 90 veterans will leave the Eastern Iowa Airport for the last honor flight of the year.

This is the 34th flight scheduled to leave for the nation's capital.

These Veterans will get to visit the memorials and monuments built in their honor like the WWII, Korean, Vietnam memorials, as well as the Arlington National Cemetery.

Tuesday's flight will have I WWII veteran and 23 Korean and Vietnam era veterans.

The flight is expected to take off at 7:15 a.m.

There will be a welcome home ceremony at the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight at 8:30 p.m.

The Eastern Iowa Honor Flight says many of these veterans never received a "thank you" or "welcome home" when they returned from service and this is a chance to come out and help make that happen.

People are advised to come out early as the parking lot fills up quickly.

Free parking will be provided and anyone is welcomed to come out and attend.

They can stop by the terminal and pick up their free parking pass.
