Adriana Lima pushed back against Mets fans who think she is to blame for Matt Harvey’s bad behavior.
The Brazilian beauty responded to an Instagram comment on a quote she posted about feminism on Saturday from a user who slammed her for causing Mets hurler Harvey’s suspension after she was spotted out with her ex, Patriots receiver Julian Edelman.
“You ruined the Mets season go away,” the user wrote.
Lima, 35, took it upon herself to respond to the comment, writing “no I did not. There is always 2 sides of the coin. Only 1 has been heard.”
The Victoria’s Secret Angel is said to be behind Harvey’s meltdown, which led to his three-day unpaid suspension from the team.
The two were first linked together in March after being spotted at a Miami club, and were most recently photographed together attending a boxing match at Barclays Center in Brooklyn in April.
Harvey, 28, was a no-show for the team’s game against the Miami Marlins on May 6 and was disciplined for a violation of club rules.
It was first reported that his problems could be chalked up to a migraine he suffered after playing golf earlier that morning, according to Fox Sports.
However, sources later told the Daily News that he actually stayed out past curfew that Friday night, reeling from the drama that his rumored girlfriend, Lima, was spotted out with her ex Edelman.
Officials were sent to his West Village pad to check on him only to learn he was recovering from an all-nighter, sources added.
On Tuesday, Harvey apologized for his behavior during a press conference, noting “I’m extremely embarrassed by my actions.”
“There are things that I’ve realized in the last couple days that I need to be doing or should not be doing,” he said. “One of those that I should be doing is putting myself in a better place to perform physically and be accountable for my work, and that’s something that I’m committing to.”
The Dark Knight came back from his suspension on Friday night, but it wasn’t a triumphant return.
The pitcher gave up five runs in five-plus innings against the Milwaukee Brewers, leading the Mets to a 7-4 loss.
Lima was most recently spotted enjoying herself on a beach in Miami with “Baywatch” star Priyanka Chopra on Friday.
“Feminism isn’t about making women stronger,” the quote Lima posted on Saturday reads. “Women are already strong. It’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength.”
“LETS GO LADIES,” Lima captioned the image.
“WE ARE TOGETHER.”
