Destabilise With Enter Shikari At Trees, Go 50 In A 25 Zone With The Dream Syndicate At Granada Theater And Bid A Fond Farewell With Jessica Lea Mayfield At Three Links.

Fans of Elvis Presley are willing to..pay $1,200 for a paper cup that The King used back in 1956?

Yup. That’s right. A collector in Tulsa, Oklahoma has put up a crumpled Dixie paper cup that Presley used to drink out of at a show in April 1956 at the Tulsa Fairgrounds Pavilion. A fan named June apparently snagged the cup the day after Presley’s performance.

The collector says the auction will run through Sunday, and so far, the bidding has surpassed $1,280. Those Presley fans are some hardcore aficionados.

So before that sale comes to a close on Sunday, be sure to keep an eye on it. And even though The King doesn’t have any shows coming up any time soon, there’s still plenty to do, as you can see from the long list below. — Obed Manuel
