Pedestrians Hit By Car On White Plains Sidewalk

Police everyone is cooperating in the investigation.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — A child and another pedestrian were injured when a driver swerved around a stopped car and ended up on the sidewalk in White Plains. Police said the incident occurred before 4 p.m. Sunday.

The child was seriously injured, with internal injuries and head trauma, the Journal News reported.

The driver, who is cooperating with the police, was traveling west near 271 W. Post Road, when the incident happened.

No charges have been filed, the Journal News said.
