Combining Intel's latest-generation mobile platform, Centrino 2, with NVIDIA's Quadro NVS graphics card, which packs 128MB of graphics memory, the R10 should deliver the performance required by the afore-mentioned users. In addition, the R10 will also feature 3GB of DDR2 system memory and a maximum storage space of 160GB on a 7200RPM hard drive.
Other features include an integrated optical drive, webcam and microphone, fingerprint reader, and even a high-speed eSATA port for connecting a higher capacity external storage solution. The notebook is equipped with a 5100mAh Li-Ion battery, which should deliver up to 5.48 hours of battery life, according to Toshiba.
