Kanye West was busy on Twitter Saturday. After starting his morning by posting the proclamation “We are Gods,” he later reminded the world of his long-simmering presidential ambitions by simply writing “2024.”
But is it possible that the 41-year-old rapper, fashion designer and cultural provocateur was revealing his lofty hopes and dreams while here in the Bay Area? It’s entirely possible because Mr. Kim Kardashian turned up a few hours after his “2024” tweet, roaming the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo.
Some people snapped photos and posted them to Twitter, which @TeamKanyeDaily retweeted.

Who knows why West was here in the Bay Area, or at Hillsdale? The mall does have an Apple Store and a Lego Store and a Cheesecake Factory, but maybe West was scouting locations to set up a pop-up store to sell his Yeezy designs.
Or maybe West was visiting the Peninsula because he planned to meet up with a support team at Facebook headquarters to help him design his social media campaign for his 2024 presidential run — like his “dragon energy” friend President Donald Trump.
OK, West’s political ambitions are all mystery and speculation right now, but here’s what he tweeted Saturday:

His friend John Legend has previously revealed that Westy is definitely thinking about running for president in 2024.
“I think he’s serious,” Legend recently said on the new Dan Wootton Interview podcast, the Daily Mail reported.
But of course, West’s presidential ambitions will have to wait until 2024, because Trump is running for re-election in 2020. This is one situation in which West will have to wait his turn.
