Emergency Repairs Cause Road Closure In Newport Beach
A traffic alert was reported Tuesday, wreaking traffic havoc near Balboa Island.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Officials reported that a road closure is in place at northbound Jamboree Road and Bayside due to an emergency water line repair.
The roadway near the Newport Beach Yacht Club was slated to be closed "until further notice," they said, "which may be through the night and into tomorrow morning.
Vehicles leaving Balboa Island are being diverted along Bayside Drive. Motorists are urged to avoid the area if possible.
