Solstice at Flattop — Join others in an annual tradition of hiking Flattop to celebrate summer solstice. It may be an unorganized event, but you can find groups like the Mountaineering Club of Alaska participating in the fun Saturday. The tradition varies from the evening of June 20 to June 22, so pick whichever day suits your fancy.

Solstice Brewfest 2019 — Hang out in a beer garden and listen to live music from Matt Lewis and the Medicine, Denali Cooks and more. Stay late for a dance party and music from a live DJ. $20-32. Friday and Saturday, Healy, Mile 248.5 Parks Highway.
Downtown Summer Solstice Festival — Enjoy live music, a chalk art gallery, a petting zoo, bouncy houses and the Hero Games. There will also be food trucks, vendors and beer gardens (plus, a “Sober Garden” at Fourth Avenue and H Street, where bartenders from South, Tequila 61, Williwaw and SubZero will serve mocktails while people in the garden try their hand at classic backyard games). Midnight Sun Festival — Join others in this annual celebration featuring 45 live performances from dance groups, traveling artists, musicians and more.
