The S.T.A.R. program is designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start and is open to puppies older than 10 weeks and under 1 year old. All dogs must be caught up on vaccinations. GOLF: Camp Corral charity golf tournament will begin at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at Quicksand Golf Course, 2305 Pulliam St. This will raise money for Camp Corral, a nonprofit that provides a free week of summer camp to children of wounded, injured, ill or fallen military veterans. There will be prizes for the tournament participants, a barbecue lunch and goody bags. This is hosted in part by Golden Corral, who will also accept donations for Camp Corral through June 2. FISHING: A Youth Fishing Derby will go from 7:30-10 a.m. Saturday, June 1 at the Celebration Bridge.
