Afternoon Delight: ClickHole & Conan O’Brien Team Up to Dump Milk Down the Drain

What better way to prepare for the fast-approaching weekend than by indulging in the some of the Internet’s most well-done web content? Take advantage of your lunch break and treat yourself to Afternoon Delight, Decider’s carefully curated picks of the best short-form content available on the world wide web. This week we’re spotlighting a surreal, special collaboration between ClickHole and Team CoCo that debuted earlier this week.

With a title that seemed too good to be true (does Conan O’Brien have the time to dump milk down the drain while a women tells her husband she’s pregnant?), “Absolutely Beautiful: Watch A Woman Tell Her Husband She’s Pregnant While Conan O’Brien Pours Good Milk Down The Sink” was destined for Internet greatness the moment ClickHole shared it on their Facebook page. “Get the tissues ready, because this is guaranteed to be the most emotional video you’ve seen in a long time,” the video promised. While you may need tissues for watching this, it will probably be from laughing at the all-around absurdity of this clip rather than the traditional emotions that come with a pregnancy announcement.

The excessive title tells you pretty much everything you need to know, and the video’s setup feels quite genuine: an excited woman tells her husband she’s finally pregnant and they both embrace and share in the emotions of the moment, and just as they begin to celebrate, Conan O’Brien appears in the kitchen behind them and begins to pour milk down the sink. He comments several times on the freshness of the milk and that he’s gotta get this “good milk down the drain ASAP”, and the couple continues to obliviously revel in their good news. 1 minute and 25 seconds is somehow just enough time to watch Conan feed this “fresh, good milk” to the sewer.

With headlines that continue to perfectly satirize sites like Upworthy and Buzzfeed, ClickHole’s content is only getting better as time goes on. This unexpected appearance from Conan O’Brien in a video that is now close to surpassing 4 million views on Facebook is hopefully indicative of more nonsensical collaborations to come – and we’re totally on board.
