There's less than a week until the royal wedding between HRH Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. We are sure that you've seen their pictures everywhere and maybe heard a news report or two about how the couple are shirking tradition in more than a couple of ways for their big ceremony, but how much do you know about the royal newlyweds?

There's so much tradition and history that goes into a royal wedding -- and thus there's a lot of television explaining those details and breaking down each news development going into the ceremony. It's 2018, but in the eyes of the royal family, one of their princes marrying an American divorcee is still considered scandalous by some. The acceptance of Harry and Meghan's romance is a progressive step for the crown and BBC America's special will examine the social politics that set up this interesting pair and the potential drama it caused behind the scenes.

The marriage of Lady Diana Spencer to HRH Prince Charles is considered one of the most beloved pop culture moments of the last 50 years. The dress is iconic. OK, maybe you want a more modern example of what to expect from Harry and Meghan's wedding. BBC America is revisiting Harry's older brother's William's big day with Kate Middleton, including commentary from guests that played a big role in the day! This is the perfect warmup for the royal wedding on Saturday.

The royal wedding wasn't the only nuptials that Meghan Markle was a part of this year. The former actress said goodbye to her longterm role as Rachel Zane on the USA drama Suitslast month. In her final episode, Rachel married the love of her life Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams). Fans can get a warm up for the royal wedding by watching Rachel walk down the aisle in this special episode.

The Crown series premiere: "Wolferton Splace" (Netflix)
Move over Harry, William and Prince Charles. The royal family matriarch Queen Elizabeth also knew how to throw a big wedding. The first episode of Netflix's The Crown kicks off with Elizabeth's (Claire Foy) wedding to Prince Philip (Matt Smith) in 1947. Back then, the A-list guests included the likes of Winston Churchill.
