2 Melrosians Among 5 Arrests Last Week: Police Log

People from Everett, Stoneham, and North Andover were also arrested last week.

MELROSE, MA — The following are excerpts from last week's Melrose Police log. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

6:50 p.m. - A motor vehicle stop on Lebanon Street resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old Everett man on charges of unlicensed operation of motor vehicle and speeding in violation a special regulation.

Wednesday, Sept. 12

1:46 p.m. - A 59-year-old Melrose man from Lebanon Street was arrested after showing up to get his vehicle at the tow yard. He had an outstanding warrant.

Thursday, Sept. 13

8:34 p.m. - A 27-year-old Melrose woman from Main Street was arrested on Lynde Street and charged with malicious destruction of property less than $1,200.

Friday, Sept. 14

9:04 a.m. - Traffic stop on Main Street results in arrest of 57-year-old Stoneham man on charges of failure to stop/yield, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and number plate violation to conceal ID.

Sunday, Sept. 16

4:48 p.m. - A 32-year-old North Andover woman was arrested on charges of violating an abuse prevention order.
