I got real happy as the tears dropped.” Indeed, a fairytale ending was hard-won for the couple, whose dramatic relationship has been documented on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood. After battling those who doubted their love – including friends, fans and sometimes even themselves – Ray J, 35, and Princess Love, 31, finally “shut everybody else out like nothing else mattered,” he says. The couple fought for their love as they weathered cheating on Ray J’s end, and say they came out stronger in the end. “I just love him to the point where it doesn’t matter what he does,” says Princess Love, who wore a Lazaro ball-gown for the Aug. 12 ceremony and designed the couple’s seven-tier wedding cake. “He’s the only person I’ve ever been with that I couldn’t see myself without.” The wedding ceremony – which was officiated by Ray J’s father, Willie – “was everything I thought it was supposed to be in my dreams,” says Ray J, whose famous sister Brandy sang “At Last” for the newlyweds’ first dance. “I’ve been learning how to listen and understand, and now we’re at this moment where we’re together and it’s official,” he says. “We both have the same last name. I’m so happy that everything worked out and Princess allowed me to come into her life and be the best man for her.”
