A fast-moving low pressure system is expected to bring heavy snowfall to some areas of Saskatchewan on Friday.
Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for Regina and other southeastern parts of the province, where 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is expected.
The agency says the heavy snow could lead to reduced visibility and deteriorating road conditions. Northeasterly winds may also cause blowing snow in some areas.
The snow is expected to taper off Friday evening but frigid weather is expected to follow, with temperatures plunging to lows of around -30 C on Saturday.
