Emotions run high after tragedies like the shooting at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.  Without fail, the following happens: liberals immediately start calling for gun control measures.

It’s weird how an NRA member stopped the shooting, but liberals actually blamed the NRA for the shooting even happening.  That’s twisted, weird logic… and it never fails to happen every single time.  Believe it or not, someone even said that the NRA wanted tragedies like this to happen because it bolsters gun sales.

That’s why I loved this guy who showed up on television recently to discuss what happened.   Mike Jordan’s son saw the horrible shooting and went on television to support the Second Amendment on Fox News host Laura Ingraham’s show.

He was asked if anyone had a weapon when the gunman walked in.

“A small town like this, you know, people show up to church, they disarm, leave their guns in the car, because you don’t expect something like this to happen,” Jordan said, explaining that one of the church members who usually carries left his gun at home. “What if this was the day that he didn’t leave that firearm at home? What if he did take it with him? If you have one person on the inside that is armed to return fire, it may not have stopped people from dying, but it would have … been a distraction, it would have got that guy’s attention.”

Here’s the interview:

Of course, it’s always easy to second-guess after a tragedy, but this is a good reminder to be prepared.  However, the guy’s shirt had everyone talking.  Here’s a close up:

Exactly.  Tragedies should not make us less careful and prepared, but more.

Kudos for this guy having the guts to wear this on TV.
