Cyberceleb Cindy Margolis is pleasing to the Eye in more ways than one now that CBS O&Os have signed on to carry Eyemark’s latenight weekly talker for the fall 2000 season.
Best known as the “most downloaded woman on the Internet,” Margolis has appeared in “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery” and “Shasta McNasty.” She also hosts “In Your Dreams With Cindy Margolis” on E!
Eyemark has cleared “The Cindy Margolis Show” for a double weekend latenight run in 40% of the country and will now officially give a “go” to the series for the rest of the nation. Eyemark also produces the yakker, which will be taped in Miami’s South Beach in association with Burt Dubrow Prods.
“To both stations and advertisers, the most elusive yet valuable weekend latenight audience is young people, particularly men,” said Ed Wilson, president of Eyemark. “What this series brings to the marketplace — a format capturing the fun, pace and light entertainment of a party, with a host whose loyal fans come straight from the demographic — is the perfect vehicle to attract those viewers.”
