UPDATE: New Mexico State Police say the girl was found safe late Thursday night. The Acoma Police Department has issued an endangered child advisory for a missing 2-year-old girl. According to New Mexico State Police, her mother, 21-year-old Leetia Chino, recently lost custody of 2-year-old Trinity Ann-Marie Shannon. They were last seen in the area of Casa Blanca, NM.Police say Trinity is believed to be in danger if she’s not located immediately. Chino is Native American and is described as being 5 feet tall and weighing about 179 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Trinity is Native American and is described as being about 30 inches tall and weighing 45 pounds, with brown eyes and hair. Police believe Chino may be driving a red 2009 Chevrolet Malibu with New Mexico license plate 047TBZ.Anyone with information is asked to call police immediately.
