The driver of a semi-truck died Sunday morning after drifting off the road in Cache County, according to a news release from Utah Highway Patrol.

Salvador Lemus-Tellez, 57, of Kimberly, Idaho, was driving west on State Road 218 near mile marker 4 when he veered to the right, said UHP Trooper Evan Kirby. The truck rolled into an embankment at about 10:30 a.m., crushing the roof of the car's cabin.

Lemus-Tellez was prounounced dead at the scene, just outside of Amalga and west of Smithfield, the release stated. Nobody else was injured, Kirby said.

The semi-truck was carrying what police describe as "an agricultural product, possibly whey."
