The Riverfront Nights Free Concert Series continues on Saturday, August 31st at the Chattanooga riverfront with Ana Popovic. Opening for her is Rick Rushing & The Blues Strangers.

Ana Popovic is a 4x Blues Music Awards nominee who blends smoking electric funk slide guitar, jazzy instrumentals and tight blues groove with soulful feminine vocals. Her incredible stage presence makes her an irresistible force in the music world. A superstar in her homeland of Serbia and throughout Europe - where American blues are revered - Ana's powerhouse voice and blistering guitar bring the most firepower of anyone on this year's roster.

There's not a blues musician in the region that doesn't bow to Rick Rushing's prowess, and his band, The Blues Strangers, is tighter than ever and they'll be bringing their 'A' game to impress Ana, for sure.

All shows are child and pet friendly. Beer sales begin at 6:30 PM. Local opening bands start at 7PM and headliners hit their first notes at 8 PM sharp, playing until 10-ish.

Healthy lifestyles, sustainable development/business practices, and an intense love of outdoor recreation have made up the "three-legged stool" that's made our town the envy of the Southeastern U.S.

Location: By the pier at Ross's Landing on the riverfront in downtown Chattanooga

Cost: Free

Time: 6:30 - 10 p.m.
