Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

With the meteoric rise of Straight Outta Compton on both the box office and Billboard charts, many have been looking back at the history of N.W.A. One of the more emotionally charged moments in the film, the death of Eazy-E, is still a sore spot for many people, especially for his son, Yung Eazy.

“I’ve been known my pops was killed,” Yung Eazy wrote on Instagram. “His death never added up 2 what ppl have always said maybe they think we’re idiots blind to the truth idk….but 4 u new fans, youngsters & ppl who just don’t know much notice in#StraightOuttaCompton Eazy did not get sick until after the studio incident with suge and look how he acknowledged & admits on this interview with #JimmyKimmel injecting ppl instead of shooting them is a new thing that’s done. Oh n let’s not touch the topic on Ice Cube naming his album ‘Lethal Injection.'”

According to Vibe, the rapper’s original post concluded, “Oh n let’s not touch the topic on Ice Cube naming his album ‘Lethal Injection’ #FreeYourMind #RIPEazy E and #F***SugeKnight.” However, it has since been modified to read, “the truth is out there its just blinded by the fact that Eric had alot of sex #FreeYourMind #RipEazyE #EazyE #F***SugeKnight”

The Jimmy Kimmel interview mentioned by Yung Eazy has been circulating the internet lately since the movie hit the box office. In the interview, Suge Knight suggests that people are no longer killed with bullets but with injections of tainted blood.

Eazy E’s sudden death in 1995 from complications caused by the AIDS virus seemed suspicious given how suddenly he fell ill. Eazy was just 31-years-old. And for Yung Eazy, that’s not something he can forgive, or forget.

Knight was recently charged with murder and attempted murder in a fatal Compton hit-and-run. He has pleaded not guilty and remains in prison.
