How a young entrepreneur got caught living secretly at AOL
Hey everyone I'm Kara tsuboi cnet.com joined by senior writer Daniel Turkmen.
And just a few months ago -- -- a fascinating story about this -- -- who was squatting. Yes squawking at you allow.
-- -- in the beginning you know how did you find out about this --
I was -- a meeting with a VC downs work on time and the CEO of the -- was.
Meaning with music is in and put them up as an -- an internship at the VC -- he just was like united do you remember that can that I told you about who was living alone.
And they went on in their conversations. In a -- a -- and so -- account activity option Armenians. Did you think you'd be willing to.
Introduced me to this occasion I added it it would go for consistently topping that they wouldn't wanna talk about here but I think it was actually kind of trying to raise money.
He was interested in publicity so he talked to me and told me historians. And -- on fun.
Note briefly I give us the story how many months -- -- living Neil Lindley was two months but it was there and this was and parallels also.
Headquarters of course but their offices and -- and he had.
He has been part of the incubator that was in the building so we have a basically a -- -- -- -- -- out of the building in here I need to decide who's sort of with a personal challenge to.
To stay there and get by as little money as accidents have found some couches that he can hi -- night so he basically work all day was really doing real work building has.
His company and he -- -- as long hours when everybody else would leave the -- he'd like go to those captions spent and I was eating food in their kitchen.
Showering at the gym and I -- it and and it kept this stuff and -- -- lockers -- -- -- -- he got away with it for a couple months and finally content.
That's pretty incredible.
And we -- kid he's really went in his twenties who is I think he was.
But he was nineteen point one when it happened and what's he doing now I mean he obviously was found out so he's no longer able to squat and I mean he was trying to build the startup -- -- and then education and business.
I think you raise a little bit of money enough money to have an actual house to -- --
For and so you know left on my top Tammy was trying to raise half a million dollars to dance to the business -- -- and that hasn't happened yet as far as I know.
But you know he's a native you know an -- -- moxie.
Sony's and excellent people were watching him -- when it absolutely that kind of tenacity scattered report of at some point four.
Fastening and we look forward to the update when you hear more from Eric I think if you senior writer -- tenement -- cars to boy cnet.com thanks for watching.
