MI Earth Day Fest 2019: Details, Dates, Performers

One of the world's biggest celebrations of Earth Day is coming back to town.

ROCHESTER, MI — One of the world's largest Earth Day celebration events is back, with MI Earth Day Fest 2019 just around the corner. From Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28, Rochester's Municipal Park will be home to myriad events, performances, activities and tons more.

The event is free thanks to the sponsors. It runs Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Prizes

Lots of local businesses and services are offering door prizes for festival goers, like free massages, a tub of Birdies, retail gift cards, planters and lots more.

Live Entertainment

There will be tons of performances at the fest, like Pied Pipers of Baldwin, Jenna Wright, Motor City Irish Dance, Bob & Coltrane, the School of Rock and tons more.

Presentations

Seven presenters will speak at the event about a wide array of conservation-related issues, like Gerald Hasspacher of the Sierra Club on climate change, Cindy Klement on limiting exposure to environmental toxins, and more speakers.

Electric Bike Test Drives

Check out some of the latest electric assist bikes and take them for a test run on nearby trails.

Kids' Activities

The Kids Korner will have rescued and companion animals, arts, crafts, prizes and giveaways, and lots of exhibits and displays.

VIP Tickets

If you want reserved tables, just pay $10 for VIP admission. You'll also get stage seating, a goody bag with gift cards, entry in the door prizes drawing and more.
