UPDATE: Police say wanted suspect out of Bettendorf found dead in Chicago

A Bettendorf man who was wanted by police has died.
Police say 28-year-old Aerick Shafer was found dead in Chicago.

Bettendorf police are asking for the public's help in locating a wanted suspect.
Police say 28-year-old Aerick Richard Shafer is wanted for 1st-Degree Burglary, False Imprisonment and Domestic Assault with Injury.
Shafer is described as a white man with brown eyes and brown hair. He is 6'3" and approximately 230-pounds.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the police department at 563-344-4015 ext. 9 or 911. Tips may also be called into Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities at 309-762-9500.
Police say a monetary award may be offered through Crime Stoppers if the information leads to an arrest.
