A federal judge gave two former Gretna business owners prison time for conspiracy to commit bank fraud.
Charles F. Martin, 57, of Bellevue and Sherri L. Atkins, 59, of Omaha were the owners of IROCK Concrete. Both were sentenced on Wednesday.
Martin was sentenced to 33 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release. Atkins was sentenced to 18 months in prison also followed by three years of supervised release.
Both were ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $4,634,803.

Prosecutors said from 2010 to 2013, Martin and Atkins lied on financial statements and business records to local financial institutions.
Martin also provided personal financial statements that overreported his personal assets by $1.8 million, prosecutors said.

The documents were used to obtain and maintain at least five loans totaling more than $12 million to IROCK and other entities.
The financial institutions lost $4.6 million, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said both Martin and Atkins used some of the loan money for personal expenses such as car payments and credit card charges.
