The New Hampshire Transportation Department has started work on repairs to a Connecticut River bridge connecting the state to Vermont.
The placement of a new concrete deck surface and replacement of an expansion joint are planned on the Route 25 bridge between Piermont, New Hampshire, and Bradford, Vermont.
Alternating one-way traffic will be maintained during construction, except for the period from Sept. 4 to Sept. 22, when the bridge will be closed to traffic.
The $319,000 project is scheduled to be completed Oct. 20.
