Irene A. Manescu of Bethlehem died Monday, October 2 in Calvary Fellowship Home, Lancaster, Pa. She was the wife of Julius Manescu for more than 60 years prior to his passing in 1994. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna {Nagy} Papp.
Survivors: Daughter, Sandra M. Schneider and her husband, C. Ronald , of Downingtown; daughter, Lynne Manescu of Pottstown; grandson, Scott Schneider of Gradyville, Pa.; granddaughter, Susan Schneider Hardt of Mars, Pa.; six great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Trombino of Glendale, California. She was predeceased by sisters, Ethel Seeds and Margaret Rumfield.
Services: will be private. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements by Downing Funeral Home Inc.
