On the night feeds? New dad Russell Brand appears worn out as he enjoys low-key stroll... after welcoming daughter Mabel two months ago

He became a first time father in November.

And Russell Brand, who shares daughter Mabel with his fiancée Laura Gallacher, looked just like a new daddy as he hit the streets of east London on Tuesday - looking slightly worn out on his travels.

The 41-year-old funnyman looked typically cutting edge as he opted for his trademark brand of edgy cool - complete with a funky leather bomber jacket and bright yellow trainers.

Russell welcomed his first child on November 6th with his 27-year-old love, as he announced the news during a performance at the Nottingham Playhouse but didn't confirm the sex of the child until two days later.

Having spoken of his delight at the prospect of forthcoming fatherhood, it seems the Arthur star has thrown himself fully into life as a parent.

Looking slightly drawn, Russell remained straight-faced as he maintained the expression many parents could associate with given newborns' tendencies to cry through the night and arise in the wee hours.

Clad in a leather bomber jacket and tight skinny jeans, Russell looked every inch the trendy dad in his getup - while he wore his long curly hair in loose lengths.

Back in November, when he made the announcement during his concert, fan Daniel Crann, 29, told the Mirror newspaper: 'He didn't confirm if it was a girl or a boy.

'He was conscious of the clock and made sure he was off stage by just approaching 9pm as he "needed to get down the f***ing M21 as my girlfriend has just had a baby."'

Elsewhere, Russell revealed that he was looking forward to becoming a father in an interview with Evening Standard magazine.

The comedian told the publication: 'I feel lit up by the idea. I’m very excited about becoming a dad and I’m preparing myself. I am just getting ready to be with a new little person and see what it is they want.'

Meanwhile, a source previously told MailOnline: 'It’s all about Laura and becoming a dad now. They have been living as a couple for the past six months and are determined to make a go of their relationship.

'It feels like a new chapter in their lives and the couple are enjoying every moment, including discussing baby names. Russell is absolutely made up. Most of his closest friends have children and he was desperate to start a family.'

Russell has demonstrably turned his back on the party lifestyle he once entertained in honour of domestic bliss with his girlfriend

His change in habits have also encouraged the former Lothario to change his ways, as he revealed that he is now 'enjoying monogamy.'

During a candid chat on the Jonathan Ross show, he said: '[I am enjoying monogamy] because there is a baby coming. One of them sperm finally made it, after I’d released so many, so abundantly, indiscriminate. Who knows who could have been born, which geniuses have been squandered?

'Some of that is because I’m in a monogamous relationship now so I’m a lot calmer… I like it as a matter of fact. I live a quiet rural life now out in the country… this animal husbandry and this new venture I think will soon put me back on top.'

The self-confessed sex addict married singer Katy in 2010, but they divorced two years later, while he and Laura have been in an on-off relationship for years.

After their romance first ended in 2007, the pair were spotted together in 2009 before rekindling their relationship last year when they spent a romantic weekend in Rome, Italy.

After the pair reconciled for the third time, Russell decided to pop the question, and confessed to getting teary eyed during their engagement - partly because he was so proud of how he did it.
