Capture the perfect Holy City memory with these 'gram worthy locations.

Welcome, out-of-towners! From celebrating with a cold drink on Meeting Street to watching the fireworks on Folly Beach, there’s plenty to do in the Holy City this Independence Day. In addition to good food, parades, family and friends, no Fourth of July is complete without seeing and shooting some of Charleston’s most beautiful sites. When you’re just in town for the long weekend, capturing the holiday with a quick photo will let you share and save the memories for years to come - and there’s no better way to get the perfect picture than by visiting one of Charleston’s most “Instagrammable” places. Created by the experts at Rayka, the Charleston-based travel recommendation app, this list outlines the top prettiest, most popular backdrops the city has to offer.

South of Broad & Rainbow Row
Soak in the waterfront views with a sunset stroll in the iconic South of Broad area. This scenic, photogenic neighborhood is also home to Rainbow Row, the famously colorful row of houses that historic Charleston is known for around the world. As one of the most popular spots in Charleston, a snapshot in front of the water or Rainbow Row is a must-do (just be respectful to the homeowners, please).

Tavern & Table
Rustic yet hospitable, this Mount Pleasant restaurant and bar celebrates the Lowcountry with craft cocktails, modern Southern food, and a deck overlooking the famed Shem Creek. The views at Tavern & Table will start your night - and your photo album - off on the right foot.

Angel Oak Tree
This legendary tree is over 60 feet tall, with an even wider canopy. The Angel Oak Tree is estimated to be between 400 and 500 years old, making it one of the oldest living organisms east of the Mississippi - astonishingly, the tree has survived major hurricanes, floods and earthquakes. Find it in Angel Oak Park on Johns Island - it’s worth the trip.

Vintage Lounge
Named the most beautiful bar in South Carolina by Architectural Digest, Vintage Lounge is highly recommended to cocktail seekers and foodies alike. Swanky and chic, the interior is what Instagram dreams are made of - whether you're snapping pics of the bar or of the curated cheese & charcuterie plate.
