Dinzler, Borte 'meaning-of-lifer' shoots in fall

Tod Scott Brody, who exec produced “Marvin’s Room,” will produce an untitled pic from tyro scribes Randy Dinzler and Derrick Borte.

Production is slated to start on Sept. 6 in Gotham. Story centers on a 30ish personal injury lawyer who quits his job and searches for meaning in his life.

Based in Virginia Beach, Va., Borte and Dinzler will share the writing credits with Todd Livingston and Nick Capetanakis.

Borte worked at Sony Studios in New York; Dinzler served as director of live sports coverage for ESPN, a TV travel series on CNBC and on television commercials.

Brody is planning to make “The Circuit of Clues,” which he wrote, next summer in a French-American co-production. His various production credits include co-producing “Autumn Heart” and editing and line-producing “Wigstock: The Movie.”
