Could the former Birmingham City and Stoke City bosses return to work at West Bromwich Albion?
Former Birmingham City and Stoke City managers Harry Redknapp and Mark Hughes are among Paddy Power’s favourites to succeed Alan Pardew at West Bromwich Albion.
The Irish bookmaker has opened a market on Pardew’s replacement despite the fact the 56-year-old remains in a job.
And Redknapp, who was sacked by Birmingham last September, is the early front runners to replace him – with odds of 12/5.
Former West Brom boss Gary Megson, who had a short spell as the Baggies’ assistant and caretaker earlier this season, is next in the betting at 7/1, with Hughes after that at 10/1.
Hughes was sacked by Stoke in January, four-and-a-half years after he replaced Tony Pulis – who had suffered the same fate at West Brom two months earlier – in the Potteries.
Former Watford manager Marco Silva [14/1] and one-time Baggies midfielder Derek McInnes [16/1] also feature on Paddy Power’s list of potential appointments.
West Brom have won just once under Pardew and are seven points adrift of safety at the foot of the Premier League table, with Stoke a place and five points better off.
Birmingham dismissed Redknapp when they were 22nd in the Championship, and have since climbed to 19th position – albeit only two points clear of danger.
