5 movies to binge-watch if you're so over wedding season

Summer is winding down, so it's time to ask ourselves a very important question: When will the weddings end, already?

If you're feeling witchy: The Craft

Being witchy is in this year, which is great news for fans of this '90s cult film. It follows a coven of not-ready-for-prime-time witches including Bonnie (Neve Campbell), Rochelle (Rachel True), Nancy (Fairuza Balk) and Sarah (Robin Tunney). It's a tale of revenge, being careful what you wish for and friendship. Also a good choice, if you're looking for more witches: The Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman vehicle  Practical Magic.

If you loved The Crown: Elizabeth

You know who never had a wedding? Queen Elizabeth I. The celebrated English queen ran her country solo to great effect, and this biopic starring Cate Blanchett, who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance, shows her taking over the throne and reigning in her early years.

If your friends are your family: Waiting to Exhale

Whitney Houston, Angela Bassett, Loretta Devine and Lela Rochon anchor the 1995 movie about four women going through life trials with love and career and family. But even if the men in their lives disappoint them, they are always there for each other in the emotional and heart-warming film.

If you want a beautiful diversion: Under the Tuscan Sun

The 2003 film, starring Diane Lane and Sandra Oh, is pure escapist fare, following a woman who buys a villa in Tuscany on an impulse after her husband leaves her. There are beautiful scenes, beautiful people and the sense that you can completely unmake and remake your life at the drop of a hat.
