Bay Cliff Health Camp hosted their 13th annual golf outing Thursday.

32 teams came together to support Bay Cliff at Greywalls Golf Course in Marquette. There were numerous prizes including hole-in-one prizes, closest to the pin, longest drive and more.

According to Bay Cliff Health Camp Executive Director, Clare Lutgen, the outing will raise upwards of $50,000. She says all proceeds from the day's event help fund the operating costs of Bay Cliff's flagship program, the summer therapy camp for children living with disabilities.

She says thanks to everyone's contributions, campers at Bay Cliff will enjoy memorable up north camp experiences.

"It costs a little over $6,000 for a seven-week residential experience per camper and our U.P. campers only pay a $100. So, we're able to scholarship a lot of kids because of this level of support and we're very, very grateful and we hope we're going to be able to continue to do just that,” Lutgen declared.

Lutgen says most campers are from Upper Michigan but some come from as far away as Nebraska for the seven-week camp.

Prizes included a $2,000 tee time gift card, a set of graphite irons and a new 2019 Chevrolet.

The outing had been rained out over the past couple years. However this year, golfers were all pleased with the healthy dose of sunshine.
