APGFCU to Open Branches in Chesapeake City and Riverside

APGFCU, a community credit union serving Harford and Cecil counties, has announced it will open two new branches in early 2018.

APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU), a community credit union serving Harford and Cecil counties, has announced it will open two new branches in early 2018: one in Chesapeake City, Cecil County and one in Riverside, Harford County.

The new Chesapeake City branch will be located at 2579 Augustine Highway (Route 213). This was a former PNC Bank branch, which closed in November, leaving the community without a local financial institution office.

“We heard the outcry from residents, and are answering the call,” says Don Lewis, CEO. “APGFCU is committed to serving people in all parts of Cecil County. We look forward to being a part of the Chesapeake City community.”

The new Riverside branch will be located at 1327 Riverside Parkway in the Riverside Shopping Center, at the intersection of Route 7 and Route 543. This is also a former PNC Bank branch, which closed in April 2017. The new location will provide greater convenience to those in the Belcamp/Riverside area who currently travel to the credit union’s Aberdeen, Edgewood and Laurel Bush branches for in-person services.

Both new branches will offer weekday and Saturday hours, drive-through service, drive-up ATMs and safe deposit boxes.
