Monday marks 10 days since Terence Crutcher's death in a Tulsa officer-involved shooting. He was laid to rest in a private family service.

Tulsa attorney Dan Smolen held  a 1 p.m. news conference to discuss the shooting investigation. Smolen is representing Frenchel Renae Johnson-Crutcher.

A Tulsa group plans to "stand in solidarity" to honor the Crutcher resident who was shot and killed September 16, 2016, in an officer-involved shooting.

The group is calling the protest "100 Bad Dudes," and they plan to be in front of the Tulsa County Courthouse at 6 p.m. This latest demonstration comes after a week of peaceful protests throughout downtown after the shooting.

The ACLU, Black Lives Matter and We the People Oklahoma have all voiced their concerns the past few days, and now another group says it's planning a protest to "help ease fear and the stereotype that 'big black men' incite fear among police officers," a news release states.

They are asking men who participate in the protest to wear suits and also encourage women and children to come.

It comes a day before civil rights leader, the Reverend Al Sharpton, says he will be in Tulsa. About a thousand people are expected to come out to be a part of a National Prayer Call for Justice March Tuesday.

The march will start 3:45 p.m. at 300 North Greenwood Avenue and go through downtown Tulsa, ending at City Hall. Sharpton is scheduled to meet with the public at 6 p.m. at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.

We've also been told law enforcement officers are planning a gathering Tuesday to express their concerns. That will take place at Hunter Park from 2 to 6:30 p.m., and a press release says the group is encouraged to bring positive-themed signs.

A news release states they are gathering to show solidarity "as Tulsa County's district attorney rushes to judgment against one of our own, without benefit of a full and complete investigation."

Hunter Park is located on the south side of East 91st Street, between South Yale Avenue and South Sheridan Avenue.
