18-Year-Old Killed, Passenger Injured In Stafford Crash: Police

A Stafford man was killed and his passenger seriously injured in a crash with a tractor trailer in Stafford, according to police.

STAFFORD, VA — A Stafford man was killed and his passenger seriously injured Tuesday night, July 16, in a crash with a tractor trailer at the intersection of Richards Ferry Road and Warrenton Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Jacob Viduszynski, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene. His male passenger, 18, was flown to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.

Shortly after 6 p.m., police responded to the aforementioned area for a reported crash. Witnesses said a Hyundai on Richards Ferry Road failed to yield to a tractor trailer headed south on Warrenton Road. The truck slammed into the driver's side of the Hyundai.
