What do you come to Vegas for? To eat, or to be entertained? Well, prepare for the best of both worlds with these dinner-and-a-show options (well, technically, brunch, too).

One of the most celebrated of those is The Mayfair Supper Club (Bellagio, 866.906.7171). This posh environment features cabaret-style entertainment and an excellent menu—everything from seafood towers to grilled cauliflower. Sushi? Try the Mayfair, with spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and hamachi, and caviar service if you desire. Mishima wagyu Prime rib is oh-so-decadent, but one of the best items on the menu comes for dessert. The Cigar, with milk chocolate, pear and hazelnut, might make you reconsider smoking. And Mayfair After Dark on Friday and Saturday nights turns bottle service up a notch.

Excalibur presents the quintessential dinner and a show, with Tournament of Kings (702.597.7600) every night of the week. This swords-and-sorcery show is presented in an arena, where you’ll get to marvel at horses and riders, in a contest to find out who’s the best. Everyone there has the right, nay, the duty to cheer for their appointed regent. What will you find to fill your belly? Dragon’s breath soup (aka tomato), roast chicken and potatoes, broccoli, and a pastry; all good solid peasant’s fare and perfect for a medieval feast. You will eat with your hands, too. There’s a vegetarian option if desired. Pyrotechnics will cap off the night.

If you want a really big show, the new weekend brunch at Spago (Bellagio, 702.702.693.7111) goes big. Brunch starts at 11:30 a.m., and the fountain shows start at noon on Saturday and Sunday, so you’re sure to catch one of the incredible displays during your meal. Not only do you have those gorgeous lakeside views, but during brunch you’ll also find live music. Traditional breakfast items such as French toast are presented alongside such items as lobster pasta, big eye tuna tartare, and Spago’s pizzas. Inventive varieties include a bacon and egg version with leeks, Fresno chiles and fresh mozzarella, and the signature smoked salmon pizza. Bottomless craft-your-own mimosas mean you can create that show right at your table.

For that Irish influence, head to RíRá Irish Pub (The Shoppes at Mandalay Bay, 702.632.7771), where you can catch the Black Donnellys, which consists of duo Dave Browne and Dave Rooney. The food here is excellent pub grub, like a deviled scotch egg, potato cakes, and fish and chips. At Nine Fine Irishmen (New York-New York, 702.740.3311), bands play indoors Monday through Thursday nights and on the patio both in the afternoon and evening.

At Gilley’s (Treasure Island, 702.894.7111), it can be hard to sort out where dining room starts and saloon ends. Don’t even try! From the dining area, catch everything in the saloon, like live music on weekends.
