Glasgow and Edinburgh weather forecast shows 100 PER CENT chance of snow next week as Scotland faces white Easter over school holidays

SCOTLAND is set for more snow as forecasters predict a 100 per cent chance of the white stuff next week.
Edinburgh and Glasgow will be preparing for another white-out on Wednesday with the first Scottish snowflakes to fall in the Highlands on Tuesday.
The country is set to shiver in sub-zero temperatures by Good Friday with Edinburgh and Glasgow are believed 100% to see snow on Wednesday morning.
Met Office records show the last time snow fell in the UK on Easter Day was March 31, 2013, with Wattisham in Suffolk seeing the most notable covering.
According to Labrokes, the bets are on for Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh to wake up to a White Easter.

There is a 100 per cent chance of snow across Leeds, Newcastle and Middlesbrough at low levels by Thursday
People in Leeds, Newcastle and Middlesbrough could wake up to snow on Thursday as it is expected to reach low levels overnight.
This is set to spread towards Lincolnshire, East Anglia, Essex, Kent and London by the evening.
As the Easter weekend kicks off, snow is likely to appear across the midlands overnight into Good Friday.
Good Friday is forecast to be the coldest day with forecasters saying temperatures could dip to -10C in the north and -5C in the south.
The bad weather is set to continue until Easter Monday across London, Hertfordshire, Essex, East Anglia and Manchester - where the latest forecast predicts a 100% chance of snow.
Up to 10cm of snow is likely to fall across the North of England and north Wales - with up to 5cm in south and London by Thursday morning
North Wales is likely to be the worst hit, with up to 10cm of snow expected by Thursday morning.
At least 5cm will hit the south of England and London in particular.
The weekend will see around 5cm of snow falling across Manchester, Liverpool and North West of England, with at least 2cm in the south.
Forecasters from Weather Outlook, BBC, The Met Office and the Weather channel have all indicated that the cold snap is likely to last until at least mid-April, before temperatures return to a seasonal average.
