A Longwood man who installs security systems for a living is accused of using hidden cameras to spy on a woman and her children, deputies say.
Officials with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said James West has been charged with three counts of video voyeurism.
West is accused of putting three hidden cameras in a home of somebody he knew.
One of the victim’s adult children found a camera. Deputies said that when West was confronted with it, he claimed that he didn’t know anything about it.
Investigators said the video recovered from the camera showed West setting up a different camera in one bedroom.
Anyone who has come into contact with West and has questions or concerns can call the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
