A Newton Falls woman who started a health benefit program is facing 26 charges, accused of stealing over $377,000 from her clients.

Pamela Priddy, 58, has been indicted on 22 counts of bank fraud and four counts of theft.

The Department of Justice said Priddy started Health Plan Administrators LLC (HPA) in 2010 in Austintown.

Investigators said she had several companies that were her clients. Those companies hired HPA and used it to sponsor self-funded health care benefit plans for their employees.

Between January 2012 and November 2013, investigators said Priddy took over $377,000 of her clients’ money, according to investigators.

Authorities said instead of depositing the checks to the companies’ client accounts or refunding the money, Priddy used the money for her business and personal expenses.
