SUBJECT: Possession in excess of one ounce of marijuana

On Thursday, October 18, 2018, at approximately 12:40p.m., a San Bruno Police Officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on the 900 block of El Camino Real in San Bruno. As a result of a subsequent investigation, the driver of the vehicle that had been stopped was found to be in possession of in excess of five pounds of marijuana. The driver, twenty-nine year old Jason Miller, as resident of Connecticut, signed and was issued a Notice to Appear for possessing in excess of one ounce of marijuana.

SUBJECT: Robbery/Kidnapping/Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Criminal

Threats and Dependent Adult Abuse

CASE NUMBER: 1803471

DATE OCCURRED: October 13, 2018

TIME OCCURRED: 8:00 p.m.

On Thursday, October 18, 2018, at approximately 10:45 am, San Bruno Police Officers were contacted by a victim who was attacked outside a San Bruno business on the evening of October 13, 2018. The victim reported being physically assaulted, threatened, and moved before having personal items removed from their person.

A subsequent investigation revealed evidence that led to the identity of the suspect, who was located and arrested. The suspect was identified as 21 year old Citrus Heights resident George Havili. He was booked at the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to robbery, kidnapping, assault, criminal threats, and elder abuse.

SUBJECT: Brandishing a Firearm Arrest

CASE NUMBER: 1803476

DATE OCCURRED: October 18, 2018

TIME OCCURRED: 8:57 p.m.

On Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 8:57 p.m. San Bruno Police Officers responded to the 2000 block of Crystal Springs Road regarding the report of a man who brandished a firearm during a verbal altercation. It was also reported that during the altercation the suspect made threats to the victim, while holding the gun.

During the course of the investigation, forty-five year old San Bruno resident Chad Kaneshiro was contacted at the scene. An unloaded semi-automatic handgun was found to be in Kaneshiro possession. A records check revealed that the handgun was lawfully registered to Kaneshiro. Kaneshiro was taken into custody and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to brandishing a firearm, and criminal threats.
