Driver identified in deadly Russell County wreck

One man is dead after a single-vehicle wreck in Russell County.
Deputies say Jimmy L. Hughes, 68, of Columbia lost control of his Jeep Liberty just before 9 p.m. on the Cumberland Parkway.
His vehicle crossed the center median, went through a guardrail, and then it overturned.
The Russell County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead at the scene.
