Baker Mayfield is the king of holding petty grudges, but he was outdone by 49ers rookie defensive end Nick Bosa on Monday night at Levi's Stadium.
After forcing Mayfield into an intentional grounding penalty, the Ohio State product trolled the Browns quarterback by pretending to plant a flag in the turf the same way Mayfield did after his Sooners beat Bosa and the Buckeyes in The Horseshoe in 2017.
The 49ers grabbed a 31-3 win and Bosa mocked the celebration again after the game by planting a 49ers flag in the end zone, making it clear he hasn't forgotten the thrashing Mayfield gave Ohio State.

On Wednesday, the king of grudge-holding poked Bosa for holding onto an L for over two years across two different levels of football.
"Good for him. He had it premeditated," Mayfield said, via 92.3 The Fan's Keith Britton. "He's been thinking about that, obviously, for two years now. That's a long time to think about that loss."
The 2017 Heisman Trophy winner knows how to strike a chord, and this one rings true.

Still, Bosa and the 49ers held Mayfield to 100 yards and forced three turnovers, so two years later he earned the right to get back at Mayfield.
At least he didn't make up a handshake snub.
