Brick, Margaret L. age 99 ½ passed away peacefully on March 17, 2014 surrounded by her family. Margaret was 100% Irish so it was a special day to celebrate her life. She was born on September 22, 1914 in Seaforth, MN to Humphrey James Sullivan and Mary Margaret Dooner. In 1940, she married James Robert Brick (deceased) of Green Isle, MN. They had 4 children, Mary (Jim) Ziemer, Patricia (Alan, deceased) Berg, Robert (Anne) Brick and Michael (Nancy) Brick. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Colleen, Patrick, Briana, Molly, Erin, Kari, Ryan, Philip, Kayla, Shannon and Amber, and 5 great grandchildren Sarah, Bryce, Braden, Tanner and Emmet. Margaret's first love was teaching. She received her teaching degree in 1933 and her B.S. in Elementary Education in 1971. After retirement she returned to work at Carver Elementary School with the Adventure Connection program where she worked until she was 92. In addition to her husband James, she is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers James, Francis and Vincent, her grandson John Paul, and many extended family members. The family extends their gratitude to those who supported her throughout the years. A special thank you to the staff at Jones Harrison for their kindness and care.
