The hit entertainment show ET Bil Arabi is now being filmed at its twofour54’s studios in Abu Dhabi.

Brought to the Middle East by pan-Arab broadcaster, MBC Group, the show is the region’s version of the most-watched entertainment news show in the world, Entertainment Tonight (ET).

The show is produced in Arabic by twofour54’s campus partner Charisma Group and is its second locally produced format, joining the successful ET Canada, which has just launched its 10th season.

Jamal Al Awadhi, head of commercial for twofour54’s film and TV services said: “We have attracted several major international and regional productions to shoot in the Emirate over the last few years. The production of this popular entertainment show at our studios reinforces Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a world-class production hub and a centre for Arabic broadcast content.”

Ayman Al Ziyoud, CEO, Charisma Group, said: “The audience in the Arab world is increasingly appreciating high end quality production; quality is the name of the game, that’s a fact. When you bring to the region an Emmy award-winning show for the “outstanding news entertainment program” category, and produce it for the region’s leading broadcaster, you have to tie it with the right production infrastructure. twofour54, with its cutting edge HD studios and facilities, was our launching choice”

twofour54 has been the destination to other major Arabic productions such as hit Syrian drama Al Ikhwa (The Brothers) and the Arabic adaptation of Sesame Street, Iftah Ya Simsim returning to the region after 30 years. In addition, international news channel CNN and regionally focused Sky News Arabia both broadcast daily from twofour54 in Abu Dhabi.

ET Bil Arabi is shown on MBC4, from Sunday to Thursday, with a 90 minute compile on Saturdays. The show - presented by Badr Al-Zaydan, Mariam Said and Nardine Faraj - reach’s nearly 300 million viewers across 21 countries in the region and cover’s the local news in the Arab entertainment industry, with a stream of news stories on celebrities, film, television, music, fashion, award shows and special events.
