Toronto Motorcycle Film Festival Line-Up Announced

If you like motorcycles, movies, or both combined, you'll probably be interested in the Toronto Motorcycle Film Festival. It's being held from September 28 to October 1 at the Revue theatre.

The festival is showcasing 16 films, both short and feature length, from filmmakers around the world. It's the only motorcycle themed film festival in Canada.

The films include a short on the oldest operating wall of death, a documentary on the story of daredevil Robbie Knievel, and The Monkey and Her Driver, a short feature telling the story of the only all woman sidecar racing team.

Following several of the films, there will be a talk or Q&A about the film. One of those includes a chat with our own Jacob Black, who was part of the cast and crew of Dream Racer, a story of competing in and filming the Dakar rally.

The festival judges include media personality Preet Banerjee, motorcycle adventurer Warren Milner, Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame award winner Bill Petro, TheMotoSocial founder Viktor Radic, and Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame Inductee Toni Sharpless.

The award ceremony for the festival is October 1 and will be followed by a Q&A panel with the judges and attending filmmakers.
